About the Symposium
PRESENT e-Learning Systems (PRESENT) is pleased to announce a new career mentorship program being included at this year’s PRESENT Podiatric Residency Education Summits. The PRESENT Podiatric Residency Education Summits, taking place annually each year since 2011, are the only conferences designed especially to meet the educational and career needs of podiatric surgical residents. The new program, called the Podiatric Career Guidance Symposium, will consist of a series of presentations and one-on-one mentorship designed to help young podiatrists make the transition from training to practice. Career mentorship has long been an important part of the Summits, and each prior Summit has had Life Skill talks by experienced senior podiatrists for the residents. The Podiatric Career Guidance Symposium is being chaired by Lowell Weil, Jr, DPM, MBA with contributions by faculty of his renowned best practice consultancy Foot and Ankle Business Innovations (FABI): Matthew Dairman, DPM, Christopher Milkie, DPM, and Richard Perez, DPM. Additionally, past APMA President, Matthew Garoufalis, DPM, CWS and Western University educator and popular PRESENT Practice Perfect author, Jarrod Shapiro, DPM will be making presentations as part of the program.
